Our Standards
We take safety and sanitation very seriously at Tattoo Morningstar. Our studio is licensed and regulated by the local authority. We use only single-use needles and sterilised equipment. Rest assured that your health and safety are our top priority.
Meet the team

Kerry
Kerry is the founder and owner of Morningstar.
She opened the doors in June 2019 along side her husband Halo and the business has gone from strength to strength each year.
Prior to opening the studio she was a barber and with almost 20 years in the industry not something she finds easy to give up and so she can be found cutting hair in a local barbers lending a hand or occasionally working from the front of the studio.
She is an incredibility busy lady as she has a passion for improving our town and can be often found working along side our local BID in creating fun half term trails for the children to take part in. There is always a side project on the go.
Her love for the studio is unconditional and always her first priority. She loves to be hands on with in the business with out being a 'boss'

Our most experienced Artist. With over 30 years in the trade he has worked in Weymouth for over 20 years now seeing many evolution in tattooing in regards tech, methods and styles.
He loves a challenge and opportunities to progress as an artist and embraces any challenge we can throw at him.
Also with a medical background he has an incredible skill in piercing including body modifications which he passes down in training the shops piercers to be some of the most skilled in the town.
He also train's all the local environmental health professionals locally in this area due to his extensive knowledge and medical background.
He was the first tattooist in the u.k to bring a tattoo studio in to the high street, bringing them out of the back alleys and taking away the sailor stigmatisation behind the trade.
His banter keeps everyone on their toes.

From model maker to tattoo artist, Ren left behind many years of teaching in our local schools to commit to his life long passion for art and all things creative.
Ren accidentily landed at morningstar, he came in to help lend a hand on the desk a few weekends and the rest is history.
Five years later and he has become an invaluable member of the team.
He has a passion for all things star wars and pokemon related as well as being our resident pirate and viking!
He is fun loving and has a passion for art in all forms and makes a fantastic asset to the team.

Sian
During lockdown, Lee realised that he was far from happy in his career and since has fully immersed himself into the industry like a sponge.
His thirst for knowledge and his hunger to become a tattoo artist has made Lee's journey with us exponential.
He is constantly on the hunt for something he is currently unable to do and will always rapidly work out how he can rise to the challenge.
As a fellow geek he has amalgamated perfectly in to the team and his energy and skill have made him an incredible and much valued addition to the team!

Sian is the most recent member to the team and is unique as she never actually applied for a job with Morningstar.
Having visited as a customer on a few occasions, Kerry saw something in her and approched despite her having a job with in the NHS.
It was a gamble that paid off as a week later she agreed to leave the NHS and join Morningstar.
Sian runs the desk and does most of the body piercing with in the studio.
Bringing youth and freshness to the studio, her humor and energy has made her a welcomed addition and we very much look forward to seeing what she will bring to the team!
